Last updated February 2026
About these terms
These terms apply to quotations issued by and work carried out by Bulldog Electrical, and to your use of this website. Where a separate written contract or framework agreement is in place, that agreement takes precedence. Contact us on 01634 944 145 or at info@bulldogelectrical.uk with any questions.
Quotations
- Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise
- Quotations are based on the information available at the time and on reasonable access to the working area
- Concealed conditions found once work begins, such as damaged cabling or asbestos, are priced as a variation
- Estimates are indicative; only a written quotation is a fixed price
Variations
Any additional work is priced and agreed in writing, including email, before it is carried out. We will not carry out chargeable extra work without your approval.
Access and site conditions
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access, a supply of power and water where required, and to clear the working area of belongings where practical. Delays caused by access, other trades or client instructions may affect the programme and cost.
Payment
- Small works are invoiced on completion and payable within 14 days
- Larger projects may be subject to staged payments agreed in advance
- Commercial accounts are payable within 30 days of invoice unless agreed otherwise
- Interest and reasonable recovery costs may be charged on late payment under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts legislation
Certification
Certificates and Building Regulations notification are issued on completion of the works and, where applicable, on receipt of payment for the certified works. Testing and certification cover only the parts of the installation we have inspected or worked on.
Guarantee
Our workmanship is guaranteed for one year from completion. Materials and equipment carry the manufacturer's warranty. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by third parties, misuse, alteration by others, or pre existing defects elsewhere in the installation.
Cancellation
Consumers have the right to cancel a contract agreed off premises within 14 days. Where you have asked us to begin work within that period, you may be charged for work carried out up to the point of cancellation. Cancellations within 24 hours of a booked visit may incur a charge.
Liability
We carry £5m public liability insurance. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the value of the works and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Website use
Content on this website is provided for general information and is not a substitute for a site specific assessment by a qualified electrician. We keep it accurate but do not guarantee it is complete or current.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
